Whilst being at the centre of the local community the CHI has established a reputation as a well known destination food pub. The CHI uses the finest local produce where possible to create a mouth watering array of dishes.
Our menus are based on locally produced products wherever possible & change on a daily basis. Look out for the
Chefs Special Tasting evenings on the last Thursday of each Month. Every Tuesday there are, in addition to the menu, a couple of either Italian or Tapas dishes served with freshly made bread.
The dining areas are divided into 5 sections, Bar, Dining Room, Sanctuary, Oven Room, and the Gallery Restaurant. Alternatively, weather permitting you can sit and eat outside in our beautiful garden.
The Bar has a number of different tables from the hub of the bar next to the open log burner, where you can enjoy a
drink or meal to a window seat overlooking the village cricket field.
The Dining Room, which was the village cobblers shop, is a particulary charming
character room adorned with a range of paintings that change every 12 weeks, the Church House Inn prides itself on exhibiting
contemporary artists work. It offers comfortable seating with a range of tables and two fireplaces.
It can also be used for a private party seating up to 30 people.
The Sanctuary, which can seat up to 12, is a small but spacious room just off the bar with a large inglenook fireplace.
The Oven Room, which was the old village bakery, is full of character and has the original bread oven and beamed ceiling
in this quiet little room and can seat up to 10.
The Gallery which is upstairs, is a converted former hay loft which
has a contemporary 21st century feel. There are a range of different size tables for private parties up to 35 people.
The Gallery is equipped with an overhead projector & screen, and can be hired for meetings, seminars or
